Forests People Climate is a global collaborative dedicated to protecting tropical forests and supporting those who steward them.
Forests People Climate has a good brand system, but icons for their three main missions were all over the place. Project was to create icons to safeguard forest, shift financial markets, and strengthen public support.
First option uses the geometric, semi-organic half circles from their logo to connect stronger to their overall brand.
Option 2 takes the element of hands from their about page and adjusts them so they can be used in a more dynamic range of applications.
Third option is a line art style that emphasizes more the human connection.
Last option is more colorful and geometric while being more literal.
